How do you fit 3 1/2 weeks worth of clothing into a
backpack, especially when preparing for conditions ranging from the constant
drizzle of the British Isles to sub-zero Arctic winds?
Very carefully.
After an all-night packing frenzy, Nana made the ultimate
sacrifice of beauty sleep in order to take to the Atlanta airport at 6am. With
a 3-hour stopover in NYC, we stopped to warm our souls with a bowl of ramen at
Momofuku. From there, we made our way to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and
boarded a bus to the bustling Stewart International Airport, where we finally
departed for Dublin at 9:25pm.
